Carpets & Rugs Description
Machine Tufted Carpet is created by thousands of threaded needles punching yarn through a lightweight mesh backing, often referred to as the primary backing. This will form various desired heights of loop. Once the carpet is completed, a latex adhesive is applied to the back, creating the secondary backing. Tufted carpets can range from simple solid cut or loop pile, to very detailed multi-color designs created on more intricate tufting machines.
